At CrossRoads Behavioral Health, we specialize in helping those aged 65 and up. We understand the issues that are unique to our seniors, and we are here to help them return to a fulfilling life. CrossRoads is conveniently located on the campus of Choctaw Regional Medical Center.

CrossRoads Behavioral Health provides treatment in a relaxed, supportive outpatient environment. Located on the Choctaw Regional Medical Center campus in Ackerman, MS. CrossRoads is designed to help senior adults who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, emotional problems, or mood disorders that affect their ability to carry out daily activities.

Sometimes, we can’t see the pain and troubles that others are feeling, but we can see the signs. Look for the signs, and when behavioral health troubles hit close to home, seek compassionate and professional help with CrossRoads Behavioral Health.

CrossRoads Behavioral Health includes two levels of patient care.

  • Our Outpatient Program offers patients less than nine hours of treatment per week.
  • Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers patients a minimum of nine hours per week and a maximum of 19 hours per week. Our care team’s diagnosis of each patient will determine the level of care.

Our programs may include:

  • Up to 5 Days of treatment per week
  • Therapy groups
  • Activity groups
  • Diagnosis-focused educational and activity programs


We receive referrals from physicians, nurses, home health agencies, nursing homes, senior living centers, family members, and self-referrals. A confidential assessment can be made in the person’s home or our facility at no charge.

  • Medicare accepted.
  • A physician referral is not required.
  • Community referrals accepted.
